1.5 tablespoons Almond Butter |
1 fresh or frozen Banana |
1/2 cup fresh or frozen Blueberries or 4 fresh or frozen Strawberries |
1/2 cup fresh or frozen Raspberries or 4 fresh or frozen Strawberries |
2 tablespoons Rolled oats, optional |
3/4 cup Milk (or any non dairy milk) or Water |
1 teaspoon Honey (or to taste) |
Directions:
- Gather all the ingredients required to make the smoothie. Use frozen fruits to make a thick smoothie.
- Add 1 fresh or frozen banana (peeled), 1/2 cup fresh or frozen blueberries, and 1/2 cup fresh or frozen raspberries in the jar of a blender.
- Add 2 tablespoons rolled oats, 1.5 tablespoons Almond Butter, 3/4 cup milk (or any non dairy milk) or water, and 1 teaspoon honey (or to taste).
- Close the jar with a lid and blend until smooth. Remove the lid and pour the prepared smoothie into a serving glass. Serve it in the breakfast.
Tips and Variations:
- You can add any fruit of your choice like strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, mixed berry or mango along with banana.
- To make it more nutritious, add 1 teaspoon of chia seeds and 1 tablespoon of flaxseed meal or 1 tablespoon protein powder along with other ingredients.
