Almond Butter Smoothie
Almond Butter Smoothie, this protein rich and filling breakfast smoothie has a creamy texture and tastes like a dessert. Blend almond butter with banana, strawberry (or fruit of your choice), oats, milk, and honey until smooth and creamy and your smoothie will be ready within minutes.
Ingredients:
1.5 tablespoons Almond Butter
1 fresh or frozen Banana
1/2 cup fresh or frozen Blueberries or 4 fresh or frozen Strawberries
1/2 cup fresh or frozen Raspberries or 4 fresh or frozen Strawberries
2 tablespoons Rolled oats, optional
3/4 cup Milk (or any non dairy milk) or Water
1 teaspoon Honey (or to taste)
Directions:
  1. Gather all the ingredients required to make the smoothie. Use frozen fruits to make a thick smoothie.
  2. Add 1 fresh or frozen banana (peeled), 1/2 cup fresh or frozen blueberries, and 1/2 cup fresh or frozen raspberries in the jar of a blender.
  3. Add 2 tablespoons rolled oats, 1.5 tablespoons Almond Butter, 3/4 cup milk (or any non dairy milk) or water, and 1 teaspoon honey (or to taste).
  4. Close the jar with a lid and blend until smooth. Remove the lid and pour the prepared smoothie into a serving glass. Serve it in the breakfast.
Tips and Variations:
  • You can add any fruit of your choice like strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, mixed berry or mango along with banana.
  • To make it more nutritious, add 1 teaspoon of chia seeds and 1 tablespoon of flaxseed meal or 1 tablespoon protein powder along with other ingredients.

Serving Ideas:  Serve almond butter smoothie for breakfast or in the afternoon snack.
