Banana Smoothie with Ice Cream
Banana Smoothie, a simple yet delicious beverage that can make hot summer seem cool and breakfast healthy, is rich in calcium, potassium, fiber and energy. This easy recipe prepares one of the best smoothies ever as it uses ice cream and cashew nuts in addition to banana, milk and yogurt, which gives it a creamy, rich taste and texture.
1 ripe Banana, fresh or frozen
1/4 cup Plain Yogurt
1-2 scoops Vanilla Ice Cream
2 tablespoons rolled Oats
1 teaspoon Sugar or Honey, optional
3/4 cup Milk
4-5 Ice Cubes, optional
2 tablespoons chopped Cashew Nuts, optional (for garnishing)
  1. We have used fresh banana in this recipe. Use frozen banana and skip ice cubes to make thick smoothie.
  2. Add 1 banana, 1/4 cup plain yogurt, 2 tablespoons rolled oats, 1-2 scoops of vanilla ice cream, and 1 teaspoon sugar in a blender jar.
  3. Add 4-5 ice cubes and 3/4 cup milk.
  4. Blend until smooth.
  5. Pour prepared smoothie in a serving glass and garnish with cashewnuts. Banana smoothie is ready for serving.
Tips and Variations:
  • For thick smoothie, use frozen banana and skip adding ice cubes.
  • For variation, use another flavor of ice cream.
Taste: Sweet and smooth taste of banana and vanilla ice cream.
