Black Russian Drink Recipe
This is a classic mixed drink recipe with 5 part vodka and 2 parts coffee liqueur served on the rocks in lowball glass. This mixed drink is known as “Black Russian Drink” due to black color of coffee liqueur and vodka being Russia’s main alcohol.
Preparation Time: 3 minutes
Serves: 1 serving
Glassware: Lowball Glass
| Ingredients: |
| 50 ml (1 2/3 oz ) Vodka |
| 20 ml (2/3 oz) Tia Maria |
| Ice Cubes |
Directions:
- Take chilled lowball glass and put ice cubes in it.
- Add Tia Maria (coffee liqueur) and then vodka, stir gently and serve.
Tips and Variations:
- For stronger coffee taste, use 50 ml vodka and 40 ml coffee liqueur
- Use Kahlua or any other premium coffee liqueur if you do not have Tia Maria.
